Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Ward grew up on the south side of Chicago, where she knew from a young age that she wanted to someday work in the medical field. After completing her Bachelor’s in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, her goal sharpened to focus on dentistry specifically. She completed her dental doctorate at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC and then furthered her education by finishing a General Practice Residency in Ohio at the Dayton V.A. Medical Center, where she worked with veterans, geriatric patients, and patients with oral cancer.
Today, Dr. Ward is an Invisalign® and FastBraces® Certified Provider. She also has advanced training in dental implants and is a current member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Ward is happily married to Marlon Ward, who is an engineer. Together, they have two Boston Terriers named Peanut and Zeke. In her spare time, she really enjoys trying new restaurants (especially if they have steak), shooting at the gun range, indulging her love of interior design by going to open houses of new construction homes, traveling to exotic places, and admiring artwork. She also strives to get back to Chicago as much as possible to spend quality time with her family, especially her little niece.
